City Gallery Art Gallery in Galax, Virginia

About Us

Becky Webb Guynn, Robert and Theresa Lazo and Penelope Moseley purchased the building on July 1, 2005 and opened the doors on Monday, August 8, 2005 after a short period of renovation. The concept of City Gallery had been a dream of Bob's for years. Over coffee one morning in late June the quartet began talking about possible buildings for such an adventure. While strolling around Main Street, they noticed a small, single story building just made for a gallery, long and narrow. Cell phones came out of pockets and the current owner was immediately contacted. It was a match made in heaven. A decision was made within days to open Galax's only fine art gallery.
