Becky Webb Guynn

Becky Webb Guynn, of Woodlawn, VA, has a BFA from Longwood University in printmaking and graphic design. She has an avid interest in photography, and draws upon that experience and her appreciation of small town life when she approaches a new subject. Her work could best be described as genre painting – a representation of life in it’s unheroic forms. Becky has a real love for capturing the spirit of ordinary people as she would see them through her camera, creating both portrait and snapshot. – a unique individual in their natural setting. She is also drawn to the historical landmarks and iconic imagery that make up the background of this life, and strives to capture them with her camera an brush before they get away. Becky is a very active community volunteer, and her work can be found at City Gallery Fine Art in Galax, VA.
